Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) President Penpa Tsering confirmed that US foreign aid under the Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM) will continue, despite his earlier statement about a complete halt to US aid. Speaking to RFA, Tsering cited US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who assured that PRM aid remains unchanged. However, the continuation of $24 million in USAID funding remains uncertain. The aid freeze has already impacted several large-scale projects. He emphasized that while PRM aid persists, future funding is not guaranteed as it depends on US policy on Tibet.
