CTA marks 75 years of His Holiness assuming Tibet’s leadership

The Central Tibetan Administration commemorated the 75th anniversary of His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s assumption of Tibet’s spiritual and temporal leadership at the Tsuglagkhang in Dharamshala. His Holiness attended the ceremony, joined by Czech Ambassador Dr. Eliska Zigova and Indian officials. Senior CTA leaders offered a mandala and symbolic representations of the Buddha to open the event, followed by gratitude offerings from alumni of Tibetan schools. Statements from the Kashag and Parliament highlighted His Holiness’s leadership, democratic reforms, and dedication to education. Cultural performances by students concluded the celebration honoring his lifelong service to the Tibetan people.
