Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) has issued a seven-point travel advisory for exiled Tibetans planning to visit Tibet. According to the Tibet Express, the advisory warns of increasing Chinese government tactics to manipulate and coerce Tibetans under the guise of pilgrimages, family visits, or tours. The CTA urges exiled Tibetans to inform local Tibetan authorities before traveling and cautions against engaging with organizations that may be fronts for Chinese influence. The advisory stresses the risks of financial incentives, coercion, and betrayal of the Tibetan cause, advising vigilance and cooperation with CTA security officials.
