CTA Holds Prayer Service for Former Chief Justice Sonam Sangpo Jadur

Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) held a prayer service to honor the late Sonam Sangpo Jadur, who passed away on September 28, 2024, at age 85. He was a former Tibetan Chief Justice Commissioner and Deputy Speaker, played a significant role in the Tibetan exile community, serving in the Tibetan Parliament and leading the Bon tradition. His contributions included securing land for the Dolanji Tibetan Settlement and serving as its officer. According to Tibet.net, Jadur passed after a long illness and is survived by his wife.
