Citing significantly declining student enrollment, Sareen warns that the fully equipped campus faces closure. He proposes converting the infrastructure into a regional campus of Himachal Pradesh University or a centrally funded institution. Sareen argues this move would save valuable assets like hostels and labs while boosting local educational opportunities. Copies of the appeal were also sent to state and union education ministers to ensure the facility serves the region's students.
