On December 29, the Office of Tibet in Washington DC hosted a New Year gathering in New York, bringing together Chinese democracy advocates, intellectuals, and local Tibetan organizations. The event, inspired by the Dalai Lama’s teachings, promoted dialogue and cultural exchange. Tibetan students showcased efforts to preserve their heritage in exile, while Chinese attendees commended the Dalai Lama’s peaceful advocacy and Middle Way Policy.
