China has been establishing Red Army Schools in Tibetan regions to instill Communist ideology among youth, according to Tibet Times. These schools, part of a broader initiative started in 2007, emphasize Communist history and patriotism through tailored curriculums. Schools like the Chen Tsa County Xi Zhongshun Nationalities Unity Red Army Primary School are named to honor revolutionary leaders, including President Xi Jinping's late father. Currently, over 424 such schools operate, with significant expansions in Tibet, Mongolia, and Xinjiang. Critics see this as cultural assimilation under the guise of education, as students are immersed in "red spirit" teachings and patriotic activities.
