Marking Children’s Day, Ms. Tharlam Dolma Changra, Kalon(Minister) of the Education Department of CTA emphasized the critical need to preserve the Tibetan language among young students. In her message, she urged Tibetan children in India to appreciate their unique opportunity to learn and use Tibetan, a privilege restricted to children in Tibet. She also promoted a holistic educational approach involving learning, contemplation, and meditation. Highlighting compassion, she called for empathy toward students with special needs, aligning educational goals with the values of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
