Brussels Reception Celebrates 89th Birthday of His Holiness the Dalai Lama

The Office of Tibet in Brussels held an annual reception on July 10 to celebrate His Holiness the Dalai Lama's 89th birthday. The event, hosted at the Solvay Library near the European Parliament, saw attendance from Members of European and Federal Parliaments, diplomats, EU civil servants, and other dignitaries. Representative Rigzin Genkhang highlighted the Dalai Lama's contributions to world peace and human rights. The celebration included a traditional invocation, a performance by Tibetan artist Namgyal Lhamo, and calligraphy for guests. The gathering emphasized the ongoing support for the Dalai Lama and the Tibetan cause.
