Blue Mountains Hosts Tibetan Flag Hoisting, Youth Advocacy Training

The Australian Tibetan Youth Leadership and Advocacy Training concluded on 13 February 2025 at Karuna Retreat Centre, Katoomba. Organized by the Tibet Information Office, the workshop covered Tibetan human rights, grassroots advocacy, and leadership skills. Led by experts including CTA Spokesperson Tenzin Lekshay, it equipped 30 participants with advocacy strategies. In solidarity, the Blue Mountains City Council supported the hoisting of three Tibetan flags for three days. The event also saw the adoption of action plans for 2025–2026 and the election of new coordinators to strengthen Tibetan advocacy efforts in Australia.
