Allée du Tibet was inaugurated in Levallois-Perret near Paris on July 3, 2026, alongside the laying of the foundation stone for what will become France’s first Tibetan Buddhist stupa in a public space. The ceremony, held at Parc des Cinq Continents Jacques Chirac, took place days before the 91st birthday of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. Mayor Agnès Pottier-Dumas, Representative Rigzin Genkhang, Senator Roger Karoutchi, local officials, Rigpa representatives, and Tibetan community members attended. The project was developed through cooperation between the Office of Tibet, Brussels and Paris, the municipality, and Rigpa.
