Veteran Tibetan activist Jamyang Tenzin, 64, has embarked on a solo bicycle rally to raise awareness about the Tibetan cause, reports Arunachal Times. Starting from the birthplace of the 6th Dalai Lama, Tenzin is cycling from Tawang to Delhi. The rally marks the 37th anniversary of a significant 1987 Tibetan protest against Chinese rule. Tenzin aims to highlight China's suppression of Tibetan identity, particularly the closure of Tibetan schools, and its expansionist policies near the Indo-Tibetan border. His journey also seeks to inspire young Tibetans to support their nation's struggle and urges India to increase support for Tibet.
