Tibetan Women’s Association (TWA) began a six-day awareness tour from Dharamshala on November 14, Indian Children’s Day, to Delhi, concluding on World Children’s Day, November 20. According to ANI, the activists aim to spotlight the plight of Tibetan children in Chinese-run colonial boarding schools, where nearly a million are forced to abandon their native language for Mandarin. The tour also emphasizes the environmental degradation of Tibet, critical to Asia's water resources, caused by damming and mining. TWA is urging global attention and action to address these pressing issues affecting Tibet’s future.
