As part of their Europe Tibet advocacy, a Tibetan parliamentary delegation began engagements in Luxembourg from November 17–20, 2024. According to Tibet.net, the MPs met local leaders, including Mayor Laurent Zeimet and Green Party MP Sam Tanson, to highlight human rights abuses in Tibet under Chinese rule and advocate for EU support. Discussions included environmental concerns like dam projects on the Drichu River and international forums for Tibet advocacy. The delegation presented symbolic gifts, including a biography of the Dalai Lama, to deepen awareness of Tibet’s historical and cultural heritage.
