On Oct 24, 2024, Tibetan Children’s Village (TCV) School celebrated its 64th anniversary in Dharamshala, drawing hundreds of attendees, including faculty, alumni, and government dignitaries. The ceremony, presided over by former Tibetan Prime Minister-in-exile Prof. Samdhing Rinpoche, featured traditional songs, cultural performances, and callisthenics displays by students. TCV Director Tsultrim Dorjee reflected on the school’s role in promoting Tibetan education and child welfare since its founding in 1960. Student Tenzin expressed pride in the festivities, which included cultural performances and sports competitions, underscoring the community’s commitment to preserving Tibetan heritage.
