Office of Tibet Hosts New Year Event to Promote Sino-Tibetan Dialogue

On 24 January 2025, the Office of Tibet in Washington DC and IPK Media hosted a New Year gathering for Tibetans and Chinese in the DC area. Representative Namgyal Choedup emphasized Sino-Tibetan dialogue as a core mission and announced His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s upcoming book Voice For The Voiceless. Chinese Liaison Officer Tsultrim Gyatso highlighted the evolution of outreach efforts, while Chinese democracy advocates praised His Holiness’s leadership. The event fostered discussions on Tibet, democracy, and global politics, encouraging mutual understanding and engagement.
