Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu met with His Holiness the Dalai Lama at his residence and invited him to visit the state. Khandu also gifted a photo of "Phodrang", His Holiness’ first dwelling in Tawang after fleeing Tibet in 1959. His Holiness the Dalai Lama expressed his willingness to visit Arunachal Pradesh in the future, a meaningful event for the state’s Buddhist community.
