In New York City, the Tibetan Community of North America, joined by 17,000 attendees, gathered at UBS Arena to offer long life prayers for His Holiness the Dalai Lama, who is set to return to India after receiving medical treatment in the U.S. The event featured traditional Tibetan performances, with monks and dignitaries in attendance. Dr. Namgyal Choedup, His Holiness's representative, expressed gratitude to those who supported His Holiness during his stay. Tibetan children also sang verses wishing for his long life, followed by a mandala offering.
