The 13th Tawang Tirth Yatra 2024, organized by Bharat Tibbat Sahyog Manch (BTSM), was inaugurated on November 19 in Guwahati, marking a spiritual and cultural bond between India and Tibet. Senior RSS leader Indresh Kumar flagged off 275 participants on a week-long journey to Tawang. The event featured Assamese cultural performances and calls for Tibetan freedom. Tibetan MP Tsering Dolma urged India to advocate against China’s assimilation policies. The Yatra underscores India’s support for Tibet’s cause, with leaders emphasizing shared heritage and the need for justice. BTSM also called for boycotting Chinese products.
