Uyghur Groups Show Solidarity on Tibetan Uprising Day

On the 66th anniversary of the Tibetan Uprising, the World Uyghur Congress (WUC) and Campaign for Uyghurs (CFU) expressed strong support for Tibetans resisting Chinese rule. Both groups highlighted their shared struggle against the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its oppressive policies. WUC stated on X that Tibetans and Uyghurs face the same system of repression, adding, “Freedom for one is freedom for all.” CFU echoed this sentiment, emphasizing that Uyghur and Tibetan advocacy are part of the same fight against the CCP’s human rights abuses and efforts to erase their identities.
