Tsering Yangkyi Appointed Dalai Lama's Representative in London

On July 24, 2024, the Kashag announced that Secretary Tsering Yangkyi is appointed as the Representative of His Holiness the Dalai Lama at the Office of Tibet in London. Previously serving as Secretary of the Election and Public Service Commission (CTA), her appointment follows Article 19 (1) of the Public Service Commission’s rules, which requires the Kashag, along with Sikyong and the Kalons, to appoint the Representative of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
