A Tibetan parliamentary delegation led by Speaker Khenpo Sonam Tenphel concluded a successful advocacy campaign in Delhi from August 5-9, 2024. The group, divided into two teams, engaged with 44 prominent Indian leaders, including Union Ministers, MPs from various parties, and other key figures. They discussed Tibet's situation under Chinese rule and emphasized India's longstanding ties with Tibet. The delegation also participated in the revival of the All Party Indian Parliamentary Forum for Tibet (APIPFT) and visited the new Indian Parliament building.
