Tibetan Empowerment Days Highlight Call for Re-establishing Tibet Intergroup in European Parliament

Tibetans and activists from six European countries gathered in Brussels for the Tibetan Empowerment Days, organized by the International Campaign for Tibet (ICT) from September 23-26. According to ICT, participants met with EU policymakers to advocate for the re-establishment of the Tibet Intergroup in the European Parliament. The event focused on raising awareness about Tibet's worsening human rights situation and pushing for stronger EU action. Key discussions included China's influence in Europe, environmental concerns, and Tibetan religious succession. The event was supported by the Taiwan Foundation for Democracy and the Office of Tibet.
