The Central Tibetan Relief Committee organized a three-day training on soil health and watershed management for Agricultural Extension Officers (AEOs) of Tibetan settlements in India. Held at the District Agriculture Training Centre in Mysuru and the University of Agriculture in Bangalore, the program covered soil types, conservation techniques, organic carbon management, and bio-fertilizer use. Participants also visited watershed management sites. The training, supported by USAID, aimed to enhance sustainable agriculture and natural resource management among Tibetan farmers.
