Tibet's Water Resources Highlighted at World Water Week 2024

At World Water Week 2024 in Stockholm, the International Campaign for Tibet (ICT) hosted a panel emphasizing Tibet's critical role as Asia's water tower, supplying water to 1.8 billion people. ICT President Tencho Gyatso stressed the dangers posed by China's control over Tibetan rivers, including environmental damage and displacement of Tibetan communities.
