Tibet Represented at Paris Olympic Games Opening Ceremony

Representative Rigzin Genkhang led a Tibetan delegation, including Co-ordinator Thupten Tsering, Tibetan Community President Pema Rinchen, and former President Ven. Tenzin Penpa, to the Paris Olympic Games opening ceremony, as reported by tibet.net. Although Tibet is not officially in the Olympics, their presence aimed to raise awareness of Tibet's situation. France, home to the largest Tibetan diaspora in Europe and many Tibet Support Groups, welcomed the delegation. Displaying the Tibetan flag, they engaged with the French public, celebrating the Olympic spirit along the Seine river.
