Sikyong Celebrates "Resolve Tibet Act" with Tibetans in Canada

Sikyong Penpa Tsering joined the Ontario Tibetan community to celebrate three significant events: His Holiness the Dalai Lama's successful knee treatment, the US's enactment of the "Resolve Tibet Act," and Canada's support for Tibet’s self-determination. The event on July 20, 2024, featured MP James Maloney, Dr. Namgyal Choedup, Bhuchung K. Tsering, Sherap Therchin, and local Tibetans. Sikyong discussed the 16th Kashag’s strategy and the significance of recent legislative successes. MP Maloney reaffirmed his support and congratulated the community on these achievements.
