Seattle's Tibet Fest: A Cultural Celebration This Weekend

Seattle's Tibet Fest, part of the Seattle Center Festál series, brings Tibetan culture to life this weekend, offering free public access from Saturday through Sunday, August 11. The event features traditional music, dance, and performances by the Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts (TIPA), alongside food booths serving momos and other Tibetan dishes. Visitors can explore a photography exhibit by Kurt Smith, shop at the Himalayan Bazaar, and watch live demonstrations by a Tibetan master woodcarver. The festival is part of Seattle Center Festál's mission to celebrate cultural diversity through 24 annual events.
