Kalon Tharlam Dolma Concludes Tour of Tibetan Schools and Monasteries

Education Kalon Tharlam Dolma Changra completed an official tour of Tibetan schools and monastic institutions in southern settlements from July 25 to 31, 2024. Accompanied by Tsering Dhondup and Tsering Yangkyi, she visited schools including STS Bylakuppe and TCV Bylakuppe, participated in assemblies, and observed classes. Kalon emphasized the importance of education, health, and the dangers of substance abuse. She also held meetings with parents and teachers to discuss child-rearing and educational roles. As Chief Guest, she attended the CTA Science Exhibition and the Sera Jey International Summer School. The tour underscored the CTA's commitment to educational enhancement.
