Bones found in Tibet's Baishiya Karst Cave reveal that Denisovans lived at 3,280m altitude for millennia. Over 2,500 bones, including a Denisovan rib dated between 48,000-32,000 years ago, were discovered. These hominins coexisted and interbred with Neanderthals and Homo sapiens. Researchers are eager to learn more about Denisovans' adaptation to high altitudes and shifting climates.
