Taipei Rides for Tibet’s Freedom
The group Human Rights Network for Tibet and Taiwan (HRNTT) organized a bike ride in Taipei. This event, called “Cycling for a Free Tibet,” aims to raise awareness about Tibet‘s struggle for freedom. The ride took place before March 10, which is Tibetan Uprising Day.
The Cause on Wheels
Riders took to Taipei’s streets to remember Tibet‘s fight against China‘s control, which started 65 years ago. Tashi Tsering, who started HRNTT, talked about the tough times faced by Tibetans. He mentioned the forced exile of their spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama.
