15,000 Gather in Zurich for His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s Long Life Prayers

In Zurich, a crowd of 15,000 gathered at the Hallenstadion to offer long life prayers for His Holiness the Dalai Lama. According to reports, the Tibetan community in Switzerland and Liechtenstein organized the event, celebrating His Holiness’s return from successful knee surgery. His Holiness was honored with traditional dances, prayers, and offerings, including a mandala and recitations for his longevity. Representative Thinley Chökyi expressed hope for his eventual return to Tibet and thanked local authorities for supporting the event. His Holiness also bestowed blessings by leading the recitation of mantras.
