Members of the 17th Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile initiated a three-day advocacy campaign in New Delhi, coinciding with the Indian Parliament's winter session. According to Tibetan parliament website, the delegation engaged with over 80 Indian lawmakers and dignitaries, highlighting Tibet's struggles under Chinese rule. The parliamentarians urged India to recognize Tibet as an occupied nation and pressed for dialogue with China under the Middle Way Policy. They also called for investigations into environmental exploitation in Tibet and the release of political prisoners. The advocacy, coordinated by the India Tibet Coordination Office, aimed to strengthen Indian support for Tibetan causes.
