The Department of Religion and Culture, Central Tibetan Administration, hosted the second Tibetan Digital Library Consortium Conference in Dharamshala from January 15-16, 2025. Organized with Wadhwani AI and Monlam ITRC, and funded by USAID, the event focused on preserving Tibetan cultural heritage through digital archiving. Speakers highlighted the role of monasteries and showcased project achievements, including the Tibetan Digital Library Catalog System and AI applications. Hands-on sessions explored digitizing ancient texts. Around 58 participants, including cultural leaders and experts, attended. The conference emphasized collaboration and innovation in safeguarding Tibetan heritage for future generations.
