TCHRD Demands China Disclose Status of Khenpo Dhargye and 20 Tibetan Detainees

Their arrests in May 2024, linked to a Tibetan language preservation initiative, have drawn international concern following the death of village leader Gonpo Namgyal, reportedly from torture in custody. TCHRD demands the detainees’ release and an independent investigation into Namgyal's death.
