The 7th International Rangzen Conference in Toronto concluded with a call for the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) to revert to seeking complete independence for Tibet. Held from July 13-15, the event included a four-point statement and nine-point resolution, emphasizing the untrustworthiness of China and condemning its repression in Tibet. Attendees included Canadian MP Brad Redkopp and members of the Tibetan Parliament in Exile. A new nine-member International Committee of Rangzen Movement was also established to collaborate with existing independence organizations. The next conference will be held in Australia in 2025.
