A delegation from India Foundation visited the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile (TPiE) on December 9, 2024, meeting with Speaker Khenpo Sonam Tenphel and Deputy Speaker Dolma Tsering Teykhang. According to Tibet.net, the Speaker praised the Central Tibetan Administration's efforts to preserve Tibetan culture during 65 years of exile. He highlighted the Dalai Lama's role in fostering Tibetan democracy and urged India to counter Chinese misinformation. The Deputy Speaker underscored China's repression in Tibet and linked resolving the Sino-Tibetan conflict to addressing India-China border issues. The delegation was urged to support Tibet's cause in India's foreign policy.
