Estonian Delegation Strengthens Ties with Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile

An Estonian delegation led by Roy Strider of the Estonian Parliament's Tibet Support Group visited the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile on December 27, 2024. The delegation delivered a letter from Speaker Lauri Hussar of the Estonian Parliament, symbolizing strengthened support for Tibet’s cause. During meetings with Speaker Khenpo Sonam Tenphel and Deputy Speaker Dolma Tsering Teykhang, topics included Tibet’s preservation efforts, His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s messages of compassion, and China’s suppression of Tibetan culture. The delegation reaffirmed Estonia’s solidarity, while Tibetan leaders expressed gratitude for ongoing international support. The visit underscores deepening ties between Tibet and Estonia.
