A sensitisation workshop on preventing sexual harassment was conducted for 40 Department of Information and International Relations (DIIR) staff under the Central Tibetan Administration on November 20, 2024. Led by DIIR’s Internal Committee, including Presiding Officer Tenzin Chemey, the session covered forms of harassment, complaint procedures, and fostering respectful workplaces. As part of the global 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, participants pledged to combat violence and promote equality. Interactive activities highlighted recognizing and addressing harassment. Chemey emphasized DIIR’s commitment to ensuring employee safety and professionalism, reinforcing a culture of mutual respect and dignity.
