Official notices prohibit students from attending events like the Sho Dun Festival, the Dragon Boat Festival, and other holidays in 2024, urging them instead to study Party ideology. Before Li Keqiang’s cremation in November 2023, students were warned against "illegal activities" and selling religious items. A student told Bitter Winter that surveillance increases during holidays to ensure compliance. The restrictions highlight ongoing control over religious practices in Tibet.
