Tibetan Education Minister Visits Southern Schools

On July 16, 2024, Education Kalon Tharlam Dolma Changra began her visit to Tibetan schools in southern settlements. She was joined by STSS Director Tsering Dhondup and Under Secretary Tsering Yangkyi from the Department of Education, CTA. Welcomed at Hubli airport by local leaders, including Tibetan Settlement Officer Lhakpa Dolma and Drepung Gomang Monastery's Chief Administrator Geshe Monlam Gyatso, she was escorted to the Drepung Gomang Guest House. There, local dignitaries, including the Local Tibetan Assembly President and Doeguling Cooperative Society Chairperson, greeted her warmly.
