Tibetan anti-corruption activist A-Nya Sengdra was allowed to meet his family for the first time since his 2018 arrest, according to Tibet Watch. The brief meeting, lasting only a few minutes, revealed his poor health. Despite complaints from his family, further visits were denied. A-Nya, known for his activism against local corruption and illegal activities, was sentenced in 2019 to seven years in prison. His lawyer Lin Qilei said that his appeal remains under review, and he remains in detention in poor condition.
