Senior BJP leader Murali Manohar Joshi said he believes “Tibet will rise again” while speaking at the launch of Anashwar, the first authorised Hindi biography of the 14th Dalai Lama. Joined by former MP Karan Singh and Tibet House director Geshe Dorji Damdul, Joshi praised exiled Tibetans for enduring hardship without abandoning their values. He credited His Holiness for promoting non-violence and harmony and recalled Tibet’s historic influence on Buddhism in Asia. The book traces the Dalai Lama’s life from Tibet to exile and his rise as a global spiritual figure, with an English edition due next year.
