Puruwala Tibetans Celebrates US Support for Resolve Tibet Act 2024

On July 15, 2024, the Sakya Tibetan Settlement in Puruwala hosted a celebration to thank the USA and President Joe Biden for supporting the Resolve Tibet Act 2024. Settlement Officer Tenzin Namgyal highlighted the Act's importance and expressed gratitude to the USA. Former Secretary of Mussoorie Homes, Gendun Rinchen, emphasized responsibility in his speech. The event concluded with games, a Tibetan circle dance (Gorshey), and a lunch prepared by RTYC, RTWA, and the Sakya Tibetan Society.
