He Moubao, the Party Secretary of Kanlho Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, has launched a campaign demanding absolute loyalty to the Chinese Communist Party from local monasteries. Visiting the historic Labrang Monastery, he ordered monks to strictly adhere to the "sinicization" of Tibetan Buddhism and integrate fully into socialist society. The directives follow the CCP's recent Fourth Plenary Session and mandate mandatory political education to enforce gratitude toward the state.
