Herbertpur Tibetans Celebrate New Resolve Tibet Act

Tibetans in Herbertpur celebrated the approval of the "Resolve Tibet Act" into law on 17 July 2024 at Lakhanwala Community Hall. Organized by the Tibetan Settlement Office, the event featured former Health Kalon Choekyong Wangchuk, local religious leaders, and community representatives. The ceremony included offerings, national anthems, and traditional refreshments. Settlement Officer Dolma Tsering highlighted the act's significance, while Wangchuk explained its history and impact on Sino-Tibetan dialogue. The celebration ended with a traditional Tibetan circle dance.
