Government to Transform Vishnupad and Mahabodhi Temple Corridors into Top Tourist Spots

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced plans to develop Vishnupad Temple and Mahabodhi Temple corridors in Bihar into world-class tourist destinations, modeled after the Kashi Vishwanath Temple Corridor. This initiative aims to boost tourism, create jobs, and stimulate investment. Rajgir and Nalanda will also see significant development, with a focus on their religious and historical significance. Additionally, efforts will be made to enhance tourism in Odisha, known for its natural beauty and cultural heritage. These announcements align with the ongoing 46th session of the World Heritage Committee in New Delhi.
