China is deploying army veterans as "on-campus instructors" in Tibetan schools to deliver political and military training to children as young as six, reported Radio Free Asia. This initiative, active in regions including Lhasa, Chamdo, Ngaba and Sangchu, is part of Beijing’s intensified assimilation policy aimed at eroding Tibetan identity and enforcing loyalty to the Communist Party. State media footage shows Tibetan children in military drills and civil defense exercises. Sources inside Tibet say the program’s goal is to shape students’ ideology and behavior, preparing them for future military service and deepening control over Tibetan society.
