In a significant step forward for digital security, Deputy Speaker Dolma Tsering Teykhang of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile (TPiE) hosted Rafal Rohozinski, the esteemed CEO of cybersecurity analytics group Zeropoint. The collaboration aims to fortify the Central Tibetan Administration’s (CTA) digital frontiers.
According to Tibet.net, the Central Tibetan Administration’s official news agency, Zeropoint has been a supporter of the CTA’s digital security initiatives. Rohozinski elucidated their project’s objectives during the meeting, emphasizing the preservation of Tibetan culture, language, and identity in the digital realm.
Drawing parallels with Estonia’s pioneering e-governance model, Rohozinski responded to the Deputy Speaker’s queries concerning Cyber Star, malware threats, and the imperative for a portal to monitor digital threats, as reported by Tibet.net.

The discussions also centered on the Tibetan Computer Resource Centre’s potential enhancement. Deputy Speaker Dolma Tsering Teykhang emphasized the importance of harnessing Zeropoint’s expertise to safeguard the CTA and the broader Tibetan community as they navigate the digital transition. The importance of proactive participation from the Tibetan diaspora was also underscored.
In alignment with Sikyong‘s vision of digitization, the Deputy Speaker highlighted TPiE’s aspirations for an e-parliament transition. She recounted the Tibetan parliamentary delegation’s recent visit to Himachal Pradesh’s Vidhan Sabha, hinting at possible collaborative endeavors.
To conclude the visit, the Deputy Speaker gifted Rohozinski a book authored by His Holiness the Dalai Lama and a ceremonial scarf, symbolizing respect and honor. A tour of the parliament hall offered the Zeropoint CEO insights into TPiE’s history, structure, and operations.
