Wang Yi, in his remarks, emphasized the importance of seeking common ground and managing differences, urging Australia to maintain an independent foreign policy. He also indirectly referred to the United States, suggesting that third parties should not disrupt the developing ties between China and Australia, especially in light of the AUKUS pact.
